Yes, I'm shocked too, penguins do in fact have knees! Most of the leg is covered with feathers so you wouldn't see it but it's there. Even though they waddle there are joints in the legs. I thought they just had one long leg bone but there's two shorter bones and a pattella (A.K.A. knee cap). They don't need them to land because they're flightless and semi-aquatic . I really dont't have a way to end this so this is the bit of the week!!! PENGUINS HAVE KNEES!
